We are always in need of a volunteer, especially an eager volunteer! "I can, I can, I can!"
MAPTA is a volunteer organization who respects the volunteer's time. Term limits are placed on all positions to prevent burnout, and Gail in the office is always ready to help you with questions about your role. Currently, positions on all committees are always available, but here are a few specific available needs:

CEU Review Committee - FILLED in 2008! Looking for help in 2009
This committee is currently chaird by Carol LInk. Jim McLean and Dana Austin served on this committee for several years and we appreciate their service. Time committment is very low. The office recieves applications for continuing education endorsement, then uploads the application to a page on the website for review. The executive director emails the next committee person on the list to review the application, sign, and fax or email the results. In 2007, 26 courses were endorsed for CEUs. This is a source of non-dues revenue for the association, which helps keep your Montana dues to a minimum. Programs Committee - FILLED in 2008! Looking for help for 2009
Want to help with the social aspects of the conference? How about helping to develop a new series for audio conferences? Video? Maybe business topics added to the conference? You and the program team, along with the office, work together to develop a variety of continuing education courses for Montana PTs.
